My Mother's Heart
I reached deep into my heart
Looking for the words to say,
I searched the recesses of my mind
For all I could convey.
I pondered long on all you've done
How I grew within your heart,
As you gave up your life to give
All you could impart.
I tried to compose something
Remembering all that only you and I can know,
As I felt a depth of emotion
About how I am your own.
Then I wondered if I could ever
Find the eloquence to express divine,
But I cannot find any greater words
Than, thankyou Mom, I love you
Mother dearest, forever more you're mine.

Poetry From The Heart
This heart, my own dear mother, bends,
With love's true instinct, back to thee!
~Thomas Moore~
If I had a single flower
for every time I think about you,
I could walk forever in my garden.
