Summer treasures cannot be measured
Golden sun, green grass, fragrant flowers, admired
Sit for a time, and watch nature unfold before your eyes
Weeping willows, grand old Oaks, Maple trees, azure skies

Boys went fishing with their dads, while girls went swimming
Others are out camping, and adventuring
School is out and vacations start
Relaxation for the most part

Enjoy a sport, golf, tennis, soccer or baseball
Gather with friends, picnic and cookout, and have a ball
Children playing hide-and-seek and like to hideout
Just don't forget to rest and take timeout

Enjoy the season no matter how brief
Thank our Lord and keep your religious belief
Use your integrity, and be charitable and kind
All goodness from within is intertwined

Say a prayer, thank Him for another day
Even when skies become gray
Not every day will be your best
Although every one is blessed
